COVID RESPONSE

COVID-19 Information

First of all, I hope and pray that you all are well and healthy and that you stay that way. One of the reasons I felt a call to become a psychologist over 35 years ago was to contribute to the health and well-being of our community as a whole, one person at a time by building therapeutic relationships with all my clients. I have been honored to do just that in Littleton, Colorado since 1995.
Our community’s health and well-being continues to be threatened with the lingering effects of COVID-19, which continues to challenge the ways we typically live our lives, including how I am operating my business at The Curtice Center. This brings me to the purpose of this message.
While teletherapy is offered for those concerned about their health because of COVID-19, I definately prefer in-person sessions, seeing in-person therapy as much more effective to the therapeutic process than teletherapy.  To minimize the spread of COVID-19, visitors to The Curtice Center are expected to follow our following procedures:

  • Please DO NOT enter The Curtice Center if you
1- are feeling ill, especially if you have a fever, a cough, or have respiratory issues,
2 - are exposed to someone who has tested positive to COVID-19, or
3 - have traveled to an area with the past 14-days where COVID-19 is prevalent.
My usual Late Cancellation policies have also been relaxed, understanding you may need to stay home at the last minute if you are not feeling well!
  • Feel free to wear a mask in The Curtice Center if desired, though it is not required. I am happy to wear a mask as well if asked.
  • You will be asked about your vaccination status at the beginning of treatment.  It is recommended that clients consider keeping their COVID-19 vaccinations up-to-date.  I am thoroughly up-to-date on all vaccinations, including COVID-19.
  • Please feel free to wash your hands thoroughly with soap and hot water for 20-seconds or use the sanitation centers at the entrance of The Curtice Center when coming in and at the exit of The Curtice Center when leaving.

While we encourage you to help keep The Curtice Center a safe place by observing these requests, please know we are also doing our part to keep The Curtice Center as clean as possible as well.  If you have any suggestions, concerns, or questions please feel free to discuss them with me! This is a difficult time for many. Mental well-being is an important priority, and behavioral health is an essential service. Again, be well!

Sincerely,
Dana A Max, Psy.D.
